Jozef F. Pjetri con Gjon Kapedani
Composer, pianist and teacher, was born in Shkodër (Albania). He lived for over twenty years in Italy and settled his last years in Vienna.
 
He studied at the Conservatory of Athens, Milan and Venice and held several concerts as soloist, in different formations, both as performer and conductor, in the cities of Vienna, Athens, Augsburg, Venice, Vicenza, Padua, Matera, Shkodër etc. alternating classics, such as Bach, Beethoven, Liszt, Wagner and Scriabin, with his compositions.
 
He took part in composition competitions, among which were: winner of the First Prize F. Liszt Competition of Bellagio 2011 for Pianists-Composers, finalist at the A. Dvorak Competition in Prague 2014, pointed out (with performance and publication) in Competition for pian composition City of Spoleto 2017.
 
His compositions were performed: in the city of Spoleto on the award night of the Competition for pian composition City of Spoleto (2017); in the review ASCENT: Theosofist (2015) at the Carlton Church of All Nations in Melbourne; within the cycle Poets meet other poets "The words are breaths" at the La Fenice Theatre, Sale Apollinee (2013); in Journey in the Tradition (2013-2015) in the hall of the Giants of Liviano, Padova; in the Festival L'Azur of A.GI.Mus. Venice (2012); at the F. Liszt Festival in Bellagio and Lake Como (2011); at Contemporary Music Festival Camino Contro Corrente (2011, 2012, 2013). In March 2013 he presented and directed at the Festival of Contemporary Culture 2013 in Padua the tragedy in music Frater Philippus on his text and music.
 
Together with the poet Francesco Zevio in 2014 he gave life to the international movement Cultura in Atto, for which he holds several concerts and public lectures at institutions such as high schools and the Universities of Padua and Verona. He regularly gives lectures in Music Education and courses on listening to Cultivated Western Music
